Empowering youth who have overcome adversity to confidently face the challenges ahead.

How we Help.

  • Fatherhood

President George W. Bush once said that one of his greatest concerns for America’s future is “the breakdown of the family—children growing up without a father.” At Louisiana’s Next Generation, we share that concern and are committed to helping fathers rise to their calling. We walk alongside dads who are struggling or simply want to grow in their role, offering support, mentorship, and practical tools to help them lead their families well. We believe strong men make strong fathers—and strong fathers build healthy families, communities, and futures.

  • Redirection

Too many of our youth are caught in a cycle that leads to trouble—skipping school, falling behind, or ending up in the justice system. Our state shouldn’t be asking where to house more youth offenders; we should be asking how to reach them before they get there. Louisiana’s Next Generation is committed to early intervention—identifying struggling students, offering support when home life is hard, and providing mentorship and direction before it’s too late. Every child deserves a chance to change their path and discover their purpose.

  • Families

Strong families are the foundation of strong communities. When families face hardship—whether financial strain, relationship challenges, or instability at home—children often carry the weight. Louisiana’s Next Generation works to strengthen the family unit through guidance, resources, and community support. From parenting help to financial literacy and crisis assistance, we meet families where they are and help them build toward where they want to be. When families are healthy and whole, the next generation thrives.
